Dr. Brad Calkins was born and raised in Carleton, Michigan. He graduated from Airport High School in 1989. After high school, he attended Parker University in Dallas, Texas and graduated in 2004 with his Doctor of Chiropractic. After graduating, he moved back to Michigan and started his chiropractor career in Monroe County. After a couple of years in the business, he decided to establish his own practice in 2011. Dr. Brad’s goal is to create a fun and laid-back environment for all of his patients, so he always plays 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s pop and rock music in the office. He strongly believes in the importance of being kind to others which is why he is dedicated to helping the public feel their best.
At your first appointment, you will take an exam with Dr. Brad which includes:
Answering questions about your range of motion
Taking some xrays
Using the roller table
Making adjustments
Creating a
treatment plan
I went to Dr. Brad after hearing how he was the best, could fix anyone, was a great guy, etc. It’s all true. He adjusted my lower back, relieving years of untreated pain. He explained his process before he did it, and made sure all of my questions were answered. He is kind and personable, as is his office staff.
